I am an outsdoorsman
I have lived in many parts of the US and had a number of vocations including a soil scientist in Montana and lumberjack in Northern WI. I presently own a franchise called "Outdoor Connection" where I book outdoorsmen and women on all sorts of adventure trips around the world. I go on many of these trips myself. We are always in search of "True Wilderness".
I can honestly tell you that this piece of land meets all the requirements of a "True Wilderness". When I can hunt deer for 10 days on our land and never see another person, heck, not even another boot track, I know am in wilderness country. When I can sit on a stand and watch moose, wolves, and deer interact on my land I know I am in a special place.
I have traveled much of the West, Canada, and Alaska and these areas have nothing over the Huron Mountain country when it comes to seclusion and raw natural beauty. You can walk for miles in any direction and not run into anything but two-tracks (logging roads). State land and large tracts of timber company forest surround our land. When I close the gate and drive the last two miles to the cabin I get a feeling of total seclusion. Just drive in and stand by the cabin and listen. Your ears will ring at first because of the silence but then will recover and start picking the sounds of the wilderness. I get my best nights sleep at "the cabin".
