Friendly neighbors gather around the fire pit on autumn nights beneath Northern Lights and the Milky Way. Catch a trout offshore and grill it over coals. Entertain on the front porch or under the side porch in a rainstorm.  We enjoy our friendly, helpful neighbors and the many road parties and get togethers. There is constantly changing drama and beauty on the big lake with sun and storms, crashing waves and wheeling gulls, the sound of big diesels from ore boats far out on the lake, headed to distant ports, and more often than you expect, a quiet lake of glass.
